The main fee layers
Etsy typically charges a listing fee per item, a percentage transaction fee on the order total (item + shipping), and payment processing fees that vary by country.
Optional Offsite Ads can take a large cut of attributed orders. Always model those separately if you opt in.
POD margin traps
Print partners charge base product + shipping. If buyer shipping does not cover partner shipping, the difference comes out of your margin.
