Etsy’s published listing fee is typically $0.20 per listing. Amortized over five sales that is $0.04 per order. Transaction fee is commonly 6.5% of item + shipping charged. US processing is often 3% + $0.25; German Etsy Payments is commonly about 4% + €0.30 depending on payout-bank country. Confirm on Etsy’s fee page and edit advanced fields.

Example: $29.99 item + $4.99 shipping charged = $34.98 order. Transaction ≈ $2.27. US processing ≈ $1.30. Listing share $0.04. POD cost $8.50 + shipping you pay $3.20. Profit per order before shop overhead ≈ $34.98 − 8.50 − 3.20 − 2.27 − 1.30 − 0.04 ≈ $19.67. Offsite Ads at 15% on that order would take about $5.25 and crush the margin — that is why the default Offsite rate is 0% (organic) with chips for 12% and 15%.

Always replace placeholders with your print partner’s invoice. Buyer shipping that does not cover partner shipping comes out of your pocket.
